CIS builds a safety net of services around students. Trained and qualified staff connect the community’s existing resources with students and their families at school sites. Local CIS programs meet students’ needs and allow them to concentrate on learning by bringing existing resources, services, parents, and volunteers to a school.
The Site Manager is responsible for day to day operation of the CIS school site. The Site Manager is accountable for achieving the campus’ performance measures and stated goals, including those set out in the state contract and those in the campus plan. The Site Manager is solely responsible for meeting the goals for the number of students served on the campus and providing the six components to students and their families. The Site Manager must be an active team member of the school staff as well as an active member of the CIS staff.
